History Speaks
The ranch is near the ghost town of Helvetia, a historic mining site founded in
1875. The depth of western history abounds in this area of Arizona. When copper
was discovered, miners came to work and make claims in the surrounding mountains
with the hope of finding gold and silver.
From the historic mining sites, to the colorful stories of covered wagons
travel over the mountain ranges, history really speaks throughout the area.
Mountain Overlook
Covered wagons made their way through the area climbing over the Santa Rita Mountain
range to the Tucson Presidio. Traveling up the path to the Southeast, upon turning
around a resident can truly grasp a sense of the views overlooking the mountain
ranges.
